What are KAD codes?

KAD codes are Greek business activity codes used to declare a company or professional activity in tax records. From March 1, 2026, Greece applies the new KAD 2025/2026 nomenclature based on NACE Rev. 2.1.

Each business has one primary KAD, which should represent the main activity from which the principal part of its economic operation derives. It may also declare secondary KAD codes for additional activities it carries out. Auxiliary activities are tasks that internally support the primary or secondary activities and are not provided independently to third parties.

KAD 2008 codes have been mapped to the new KAD 2025/2026 codes so businesses and professionals can identify the new code for each older activity. See new and old KAD correspondence for more information.
